Rules:
Though
we prefer graphic art, this contest is open to all kinds of artwork.
It has to be a square image sized 4.75 x 4.75 inches.
It has to be a Jpg. Gif, or bmp
The title, “Nebulous 9” should be somewhere on the cover.
Artwork submitted without the title will have it added.
It must be original artwork, meaning your own
You can enter as many times as you want
In order to keep the contest fair, we will post the images anonymously
and let our fans have votes in the judging, however: Nebulous 9 will
have the final decision based upon which submissions are the most original,
authentic artistic expression of the music of the message of the band.
Once
chosen, we will post the name of the winner along with their artwork.
The winner will get will also get full credit in the CD insert and on
the posters, websites, etc. that we use the artwork on.
We will also link the winner on our website, and display any promotional
banners the winner would like on our website.
So let the fun begin! Once you come up with an idea and get it together

Please
have the title of the email or the submission include the words "CD
Cover Contest" in the message line.
Contest begins on May 5, 2006 and ends when the cd is being mastered.
(the "Deadline").

LEGAL RULES:
Use of Entries. You hereby agree that in consideration of your being
allowed the chance to enter the Contest, you hereby grant Nebulous 9,
a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide license and right to utilize the
entry materials that you submit to Nebulous 9 in connection with the
Contest (collectively, "Entry Materials"). The Entry Materials
will not be returned to any entrant. Without limiting the generality
of the foregoing, you acknowledge that Nebulous 9 shall have the right
to use, modify, reproduce, publish, perform, display, distribute, make
derivative works of and otherwise commercially and noncommercially exploit
the Entry Materials in perpetuity and throughout the universe, in any
manner or medium now existing or hereafter developed, without separate
compensation to you or any other person or entity. You agree to take,
at Nebulous 9's expense, any further action (including, without limitation,
execution of affidavits and other documents) reasonably requested by
Nebulous 9 to effect, perfect or confirm Nebulous 9's rights as set
forth.
Original Work of Authorship. You hereby warrant and represent that (a)
you own all rights to all Entry Materials submitted by you; and (b)
all such Entry Materials are original works of authorship on your part
and have not been copied, in whole or in part, from any other work and
do not violate, misappropriate or infringe any copyright, trademark
or other proprietary right of any other person or entity.
General Release. By entering the Contest, you release Nebulous 9 from
any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related
to any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising
out of or in connection with the Contest or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance,
possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without
limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal
injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity
or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional
or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including
negligence), warranty or other theory.
Release. As a condition of being the winner, winner will be required
to sign a copy of the official rules, as a release to the artwork.
If a minor is chosen, (under18) they must have also have their parents
written consent that they have read and agree to these rules.
